Fire Rated Trimless Buena Fire Valve - Extinguisher Cabinet
These are Potter Roemer Fire Rated Buena Style Fire Valve - Extinguisher Cabinets configured for Trimless mount. The cabinet is designed to accommodate a 2-1/2 inch angled Fire Dept. Valve and a Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher of up 20 lbs (9.07 kg) capacity. SPECIAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRIMLESS CABINETS Trimless cabinets MUST BE installed PRIOR to finished wall surface. The trimless frame will be drywalled over (5/8 inch or 15.875 mm thickness recommended) to effect a finished surface. Only the door and hinge will be visible after wall is finished. The FRC cabinets are covered by an external steel fire protection box with a layer of fire-rated insulation material. Cabinet is UL Classified per the standard for UL 1479 - Penetration Firestop Systems. UL File no. R15411; Fire Rating: 2 Hours.
