Fire Rated 1700 Series Fire Extinguisher Cabinet
1700 Series fire-rated cabinets accommodate a single portable fire extinguisher. The box is fabricated of 22 gauge steel. The cabinets box door and frame are constructed from 20 gauge steel with fire insulation material and the door has a continuous steel hinge (brass pin). The steel corner seams are welded and ground smooth. Recessed semi-recessed are furnished with square edges. All components are powder-coated with an electrostatically-applied thermally-fused recoatable white polyester finish. FRC Cabinets are UL Classified per the standard for UL 1479 - Penetration Firestop Systems UL File no. R15411; Fire Rating: 2 Hours.
