Roof House
This equipment house is used to provide roof hose stations maintaining readily available fire protection for extensive roof areas. The roof house accommodates 100 feet (30.4 meter) of 1-1/2 inch (3.8 cm) lined hose. It has a 14 ga. electro-galvanized steel base 26 ga. corrugated galvanized steel platform and 18 ga. steel cover powder-coated with an electrostatically-applied thermally-fused red polyester finish. The cover is provided with a spring-loaded latch handle stainless steel continuous hinge and 4 inch (10.2 cm) high "Fire Hose" lettering. Three access sleeves accommodate connections into the building.
